For example, architects make models of buildings or bridges. Climatologists make computer models that simulate weather patterns. Astronauts and astrophysicist try and create environments here on earth that model the conditions of mars, the moon, or outer space. Why?What is the purpose?
They do this to show examples of things, or test outs. Some things we cannot see with the naked eye, so we create models to have a better understanding of things - like the DNA model. Other times, we use models as plans to make the real thing.
I believe that models is something to represent something that is way smaller. For example, we can't see out hair cell with our naked eye so we use a microscope. We can make a diagram or model to represent how it would look like in a bigger size.

We need to make small models or a first design to see if it works and if we can actually make a bigger model that could represent what we want to do.

Models are important in science so that we can understand the situation more easily. You can also use models to prove something in science.

It is important to build models of projects because it shows people a better understanding of what you're planning to do. It's also good to have a understanding of what you're going to build or be teaching.

Scientist make models so that they can test experiments on it. For example bad weather. Another reason is so that they can see it closer up, and in a smaller version, or a bigger version of the real thing.

Models are important in science because you can see shapes in 3-D. And, you touch it and see what it feels like. In addition, you can also see the shape bigger.

People usually make small models of a building or a structure of how the actual building will really look like. Some people make a model of a product that they want to make. People make models because they need to know a thing that they know they are making.

Models are so that you can observe something before you make the real thing. It also serves as a tool to teach all around the world

The reason why people have models are to tech people about what things look like. Things we can't see like DNA sculptures and models of planets we cant see.

Models are important in science because people can plan out, see before you make a real one and change if you made a mistake. For example, if we look at model DNA, we could see how DNA is formed.

Models in science are important because when you are learning you want to see how the object or thing looks like.

Science models are important because we can see clear examples of what ever the model is about. Lets say we are trying to find a way to change our human DNA so we can fly, we would need a accurate model of human DNA so we can see where we can change the human DNA to create a part of the DNA so we can fly.

We use models to take a closer look of the things that we build or discover also use use them to test them.

There are two reasons why we have models. 1. Models are great for spatial learning or having a mental picture in your head based of of the models. 2. Models can also be used do tests on to see if you did one thing how would the model react for instance. An architect has designed a bridge but before he can build it he needs to know if its stable so he makes a computer model to see

Models are used in science for various reasons. I think, THINK, they're mainly used for predicting and testing. By building a model, we can predict about what might happen or test it without actually harming something living. For example, by building a model of a school, we can predict how much material it might take to build or how many students we can fit. We can also "test" out what it might look like with trees. And so on.

Models are important in science because if you need to understand something better you would look at it and make a model so you can get an all round perspective of what you're looking at. You would make a model if something is too small, too big, too hot, too cold, or too hard to understand.

Models are important in science because to show how things work, or show a clear example. Sometimes models are also important to how something works that is impossible to see with the naked eye, for example something really really small, or really big.

People have models to see things that we can't or something you are going to make before you make it. So I think models are for having a better understanding of things.

Models give people a real life view of things. It also helps demonstrate what happens to things. They could be examples, for example, some cities design what they think they will look like in 10 years from now (something like that) they might make a model to show what they think.

Modals are important so we can see what we have to build. An example architect make modals of building before they build the site, because it helps them plan it out and have a modal to guide them.

They are so important because 1. It is good to get a general image of the actual object. 2. So that they can do tests on the model 3. like I was saying you can see the in 3 dimensions.

We have models in science because sometimes saying it just isn't enough. When you build something you want to make sure that it doesn't have any problems. To make sure it doesn't have any problems we make models. You would build it just like you would the real thing but smaller. You would test to see if the functions of the model work or if you can improve anything.
Having models is important in Science because without models scientists can't test out what their experiment / lab will be like. For example, architects need models in order to make bridges, because without their models their projects could be ruined.

Models are beneficial us because they gives us an idea or perspective on a certain object or thing. For example, DNA or cells are something that we cannot see, but models of them help us understand on what they look like and show every last bit of detail as if we are really seeing one right now.

People make models because they are either to small or to big. For example we can't see individual atoms so we make models of their structure or we can't see the full size of the Earth with just our eyes so we make a model. Also we make models to represent something bigger. For examples architects plan with a model of a structure before actually making it to full scale because they can review it.

We use these kind of models to look and test about these models. And also get to learn more about them. You can also use these objects to make real models. For example, an architect uses computer designs to make that model (a bridge) before he could build it.

I think that models are important because they are a first step to doing something. For example, a model of a car was probably one of the first steps to making a car. Models of things are like the beginning of things being created.
