Science is anything that is true, real, about anything. It could be nature, or animals or things on Earth. Science usually has evidence to it, so it can't be a myth, a belief or anything that we are unsure about. Science exists because we want to know how things work, and why they are there.

science |ˈsīəns| noun the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment : the world of science and technology. • a particular area of this : veterinary science | the agricultural sciences. • a systematically organized body of knowledge on a particular subject : the science of criminology. • archaic knowledge of any kind.
ORIGIN Middle English (denoting knowledge): from Old French, from Latin scientia, from scire ‘know.’
That's the dictionary definition. Of course, it's correct and everything, but, its rather hard to understand. From my point of view....
science noun Of which we learn intellectual things through fieldwork and study - observation and worksheets. Whether its the life cycle of things, behavior, physics, etc. science is almost involved in everything. It can be of, yes, criminology, biology, etc.
