I was very surprised that sharks are actually peaceful animals. I was also quite sad because they are being killed for no good reason and without them, our oceans food chain won't work.

I think it is really cruel that people kill sharks just for their fins, especially when they don't even intend to harm you. People should really think before they act.

sad and depressed because so manny sharks are dying for no actual reason. I am also annoyed at the fishing industries who are oblivious to the fact that shark fin soup has no medical characteristics or properties. It is only eaten to show wealth. It doesn't even give much taste.

My reaction was that it made me feel like I should help. It was kind of cruel how people kill creatures that changes fishes and how they react. I like the movie because you learn a lot about sharks and why they are not horrible creatures.

I thought sharks are very harmful animal but after watching this first half of this film, I realized that we are being harmful to shark and sharks nice when we don't make them scared. People should stop killing sharks just for shark fin. Sharks doesn't make us strong.

I felt bad for the sharks because after getting their fins cut off, they throw the sharks back in the water. Not only that people kill them illegally and sharks are not harmful to humans.

Very shock because I think people shouldn't take shark fins for making shark fin soup. I think that Paul Watson is a really good guy who helps the whales and the sharks. Somehow I think that shark fin soups are grouse and don't smell good.

My reaction to "shakwater" was shocking. I didn't know how many sharks are going extinct, and getting caught in long line fishing. I was also shocked about hearing that only about 5 people a year are killed by sharks. I know that there not out to get humans, but I thought that they killed more people. Before I saw it, I was pretty freaked out about sharks, but to see Steward interact with the sharks like that gave me a different view about them. It made me mad that so many sharks are getting caught in the long line fishing nets. That was very shoking to me. I felt that the movie was very powerful, and made you want to make a difference.

I feel sad because I like animals and its horrible to me to see animals dying, they only kill sharks for their fins and someone should stop killing the sharks because they are part of our ecosystem and they are the oldest animals that we have ever had.

It actually Made me feel guilty and personally angry and downright furious of how greed for money consumed these people and make them do such horrible things and how they get away with it! It made my blood boil. Not to mention the small mindedness. assuming that we have the right to inflict such horrors!

I can honestly say that I was shocked about what I saw and thought about writing petitions about saving our planet and sharks to the government.

I find it ironic that we think that people think sharks are useless and not important to the ecosystem. Sharks are important in Darwins theory of evolution. Without sharks the ocean would not be the same. Us humans are not very important in the ecosystem, we think sharks are not important but we are LESS important. Without us humans the world would flourish.

The sharks are only part of the whole problem. Dolphins, whales, sharks, and overfishing is the whole problem and at this point the government can't do anything about it people need to take action like Paul Watson.

I felt really sad, because it explains that sharks are actually harmless creatures, and they are very beautiful creatures. However, people are saying that sharks eat people, they're scary and dangerous.

It felt kind of scary and disgusting. I mean, when I saw the blood in the movie, I made disgusting sounds and fainted a few times. The whole thing meant that I felt kind of sorry for those sharks who have been killed.

My reaction to it was kind of shocking, even though I heard of shark finning back then. One of the things that shocked me was the captain who was sinking and crashing fishing boats on purpose as things like that aren't usually seen in the news. Also, people such as the shark fin soup guy had no idea what was really going on, as it looked like they'd been brainwashed with poor knowledge on Sharks.

The movie shark water made me depressed. It made me feel really bad for the sharks that are dying. Therefore, the oceans most fearce predator could become extinct because of the humans that live on land. I think that this is a really sad situation and that governments all over the world should do something to stop this terrible situation.

I personally am very scared of sharks, even though in experience I have swam with them before. Sharkwaters is a very powerful movie (so far), and has made me feel like it is something that we can try and help. It is really sad, and quite scary because I think it is terrible that they are killing them for just their fins. They are almost extinct and they have made it this far for around 400 million years, so I think they deserve to stay alive.

I think that there are two sides.
I think that they should not be allowed to do this. they should be punished. I think that any of these phsycos should do community service for sharks and be charged for murder. But I think that there are some poor unfortunate people that have no other choice. I would agree with killing sharks if they would breed them and eat there whole body but what they are doing now is just pure murder and to think that they are just killing them for there tasteless fins.

Adding to my Comment:
Also, because they're the oldest creatures on earth. They're killed for their fins but actually, their fins have no taste, so basically the shark fins are for nothing. It's also really sad and it makes me angry, that people only cut off the fins of the shark, then throw the body back.

Guilt, was my first reaction to the fist part of Shark water. I think that this movie is trying to convince people not to be afraid of sharks as shown in the example when Mr. Robert Stewart first starting going down the ocean water and taking pictures and short movies, and Mr. Robert Stewart was petting, cuddling and huddling the poor sharks who were going to be extinct. Also, because people, here in Hong Kong were taking the sharks fins to make a delicious but not healthy soup. Also, people thought that sharks were going to kill people, but they were wrong...

I found the video shocking. I found it shocking because of several reasons. I didn't think that sharks only kill 5 people a year. I understand that sharks aren't trying to hurt us, they are just curious thus, they bite. I've always been afraid of sharks because of their teeth and how powerful their jaws were. I know that there is no reason to be afraid of sharks. Another thing that I found shocking was that people want the shark/shark-whales fins. I don't think that eating fins increase the strength, like some people think. I know now, judging by the first part of the video, there is no need to eat/be afraid of sharks.

I found the video shocking, scary, sad, depressing, freaky and surprising all at the same time. I found it shocking because I always thought that sharks were scary because there are so many sharks attacks. I found it scary because it was creepy seeing all that blood coming out of the body and going into the sea. I mean it was just gross and freaky and cruel. I found it sad because it was sad to see all the sharks being killed its the most cruel thing I've ever seen. I found it depressing to see the man who made the movie Mr. Robert Stewart was almost gonna die, and that he got really badly hurt, also the fact that Mr. Watson stopped working with Mr. Robert Stewart also the fact that Shark fin soup was sold in Hong Kong, the place where we live! It made me feel like taking action because the sharks are being killed!
